About the Festival: This festival is held annually from September 7th to 9th, coinciding with the festivals of Kakunodate Sochinju Shinmei Shrine and Shōrakuzan Jōjuin Yakushidō. Large floats adorned with warrior dolls and Kabuki dolls are paraded through the townscape that has remained since the Edo period, with floats taken from 18 districts.
