Notice of road closure at Dakigaeri Gorge

Due to the earthquake off the coast of Sanriku on April 20th, the section upstream from “Kami no Iwabashi” (God’s Rock Bridge) will be closed to traffic for safety reasons. The section from Dakigaeri Shrine to Kami no Iwabashi is still passable. The section will be reopened once the earthquake warning is lifted and safety has been confirmed.
