They are engaged in beekeeping in their local Lake Tazawa area, and are popular for their domestic honey, honey from around the world, processed honey foods, and health foods such as propolis and royal jelly. They also manufacture and sell sweets made with honey, and have an on-site pizza restaurant that bakes pizza in an authentic stone oven.
