Special feature on hot spring inns with private baths

We will introduce you to some lodgings that offer the popular “private baths” where you can enjoy the hot springs in a space without being disturbed by anyone. Please check in advance if you wish to use the facility.
Taenoyu
[Day use available (advance reservation required)] Day use guests can use the facility for 3,300 yen (tax included) per hour. Hours are 11:00-15:00. Advance reservations are accepted, so please apply by phone. (Please note that time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.) Hotel guests can use the facility free of charge during their stay.
Magoroku Onsen Rokuan
[For overnight guests only] We have three private rooms with private open-air baths and panoramic views of the four seasons of Nyuto Onsenkyo.
Tsurunoyu Hot Springs
[For guests only] There is a private bath available exclusively for guests.
Tsurunoyu Onsen Annex Yama no Yado
[For overnight guests only] We have two indoor baths and one open-air bath that can be reserved for private use. Reservations are not required, but you can lock the inside door and reserve the baths for private use when they are open.
Kuroyu Onsen (closed for the winter)
[Day trips available (advance reservation required)] The private bath with a waterfall bath is 2,200 yen per group for 30 minutes (excluding bathing tax). *This price is for the private bath only. Guests staying overnight can use it for free.
Komagatake Hot Springs
[For guests only] You can reserve the open-air bath along the river and enjoy the open nature to your heart’s content.
Aoni Sanso, a hotel that brings peace to your soul
[For overnight guests only] There are two baths. Koshi-no-yu: The bathroom is fitted with hot spring tatami mats, allowing you to feel the warmth on the soles of your feet even in winter. Katano-yu: The bathroom window can be opened, allowing use as an open-air bath. Each bath is limited to 50 minutes per group.
Cerulean Resort AONI
[Limited to guests staying at the hotel] You can use the private bath at our sister hotel, Aoni Sanso, next door. The fee is 2,200 yen per group, 50 minutes per use. Please make a reservation after checking in.
Kashintei Shirahama
[For overnight guests only] The private family bath is a rare Japanese-style room with a raised floor, approximately 20 tatami mats in size, and is an open-plan private bath. It is available 24 hours a day, free of charge, and does not require reservations.
Katakuri flowers
[For overnight guests only] A spacious, private open-air bath with a raised platform. Enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Tazawa right in front of you.
Tamagawa Onsen
[For guests only] Those accompanied by a caregiver or those who find it difficult to bathe in the large public bath can enjoy a quiet, relaxing soak in the hot springs and a private space without any worries. Reservation required.
Shin-Tamagawa Onsen
[For guests only] Enjoy a quiet, relaxing soak in the hot springs in a private space. Reservations are required and can be made at the front desk upon arrival.
Natsuse Onsen Miyakowasure
[For guests only] We have 10 rooms with an open-air bath. Private baths can be reserved after check-in.
