Hirafuku Memorial Museum of Art

The works of local painters, including masters of modern Japanese painting, Hirafuku Hoan and his son Hyakuho, are on display. The site is the remains of a residence of a vassal of the North Satake clan during the feudal era, and the thick trees in the front yard remain as they were at the time of the samurai residence. The harmony between the museum building and the samurai residences is also one of the highlights.
