The source is a strongly acidic spring with a temperature of 98 degrees and a pH of 1.1 at 9000 liters per minute, flowing as a river with a width of 3 meters. We are proud of the largest amount of spring water from one place in Japan. It is a large hot spring resort that is crowded with hot spring guests visiting from all over the country for spa treatment.

Getting Around

From JR Tazawako Station, take the Ugo Kotsu Bus "Express Hachimantai Line" ("Express Shin Tamagawa Line" in winter) and get off at Tamagawa Onsen or Shin Tamagawa Onsen, Buna no Mori Tamagawa Onsen (time required 70-80 minutes)
180 minutes from Akita Airport by using "Akita Airport Liner Tamagawa (Kakunodate / Lake Tazawa / Tamagawa Onsen)"
