Kyu Ishiguro(Kei)ke

旧 石黒(恵)家

The former Ishiguro (Megumi) House was designed and built in 1935 and is a branch of the Buke Yashiki Ishiguroke.
The interior features a modern Japanese-Western fusion design, combining a traditional Japanese style house with a Western-style room.
It is a valuable cultural heritage that allows us to see how housing styles have changed over the years from the Edo to the Showa eras.

It is closed every Monday and over the New Year holidays, but is open all year round and can be visited free of charge.
