Kitaura Main Store, located on the old National Route 46 closer to Akita City than Kakunodate, opened in the fall of 1996, stocking all of our products and local specialties, as well as the unique flavors of Akita, in order to create a store that will satisfy even more customers. In the spring of 2010, the store reopened with the addition of "Dounabe-ya" and "Seiro-tei," further enhancing its offering. Please feel free to stop by and enjoy tastings in our spacious store. Also, be sure to try the "soy sauce soft serve ice cream" that has been a big hit since it was first sold at "Okashi no Kurata" inside the store.
