Kakunodate Town in Akita Prefecture is a town that has carefully cultivated the ancient tradition of "craftsmanship" along with its historic samurai residences. The town is lined with rows of cherry blossom trees dyed in autumn colors and the plaza is home to ceramics, woodwork, lacquerware, glass, metal, and leather. There are 116 shops selling original goods by dyeing and weaving artists, as well as food establishments offering healthy meals. Please come and visit!

Since August 1st, the area around Uchikawa Bridge has been closed to traffic due to bridge repair work.
To get to the venue from Akita City, take the Kakunodate Bypass to Nakagawa/ Kakunodate City and head south onto a public road.
