
This bronze statue of the legendary beautiful Princess Tatsuko, who is said to have wished for eternal youth and beauty and became the lake goddess, stands pure and simple with the clear blue waters of the lake at her back. It is located near the shore of Tazawako, which boasts the deepest depth in Japan at 423.4 meters.
