Built in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Meiji era

Tatsuko Kannon

たつこ観音

It is located in Haruyama, the entrance to the shore of Lake Tazawa. Of the four statues on the shore of the lake, this is the most plump and plump statue of Tatsuko.

It was erected in 1968 by Mr. Yamada and others in Misato Town (former Rokugo Town) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Meiji era.

From JR Tazawako Station, take the Ugo Kotsu Bus "Tazawako Round Line", get off at the park entrance, and walk for 1 minute (about 15 minutes)
