飲水思源像

The drinking water source statue is a statue given by Taiwan to commemorate the sister lake tie-up between Lake Tazawa and Lake Chengcing in Taiwan. It was erected in 1991 on the shores of Lake Tazawa in Haruyama.

The meaning is that "sunlight, air, and water are the three major requirements for human survival, and we must not forget the importance of their origin when using water."
