Dakigaeri Autumn Leaves Festival Schedule and Overview

Reiwa 10th (Tuesday) - November 10th (Friday ), 2020

Dakigaeri Valley is known as the Yabakei of Tohoku and is a famous spot for viewing fresh greenery and autumn leaves.
You can easily take a walk, and the view from “Kami no Iwahashi” is spectacular! It is crowded with many tourists every year.
There are plenty of various events during the Autumn Leaves Festival!

・Safety prayer festival (shinto ritual)

October 10th (Tuesday) 11:00~
Location: Dakigaeri Valley Shrine Maiden Ishimae

・Entertainment performance (may be canceled in case of rain)

Sunday, October 22nd, noon - Creative Japanese Drum Katsura Gumi
October 29th (Sunday) from noon to Takahashi Kinukosha Middle School
November 3rd (Friday/holiday) from noon - Soga Senbu-kai

・Tea ceremony (cancelled in case of rain)

Sunday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 29th, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Inside the valley park Participation fee: 300 yen

Schedule: Round trip from Dakigaeri Jinja to Meikai no Taki. Musical viewing at Warabi Warabi Gekijo from 1:45 pm.
Meeting place: In front of Dakigaeri Jinja, reception at 10am
Date and time: October 29th (Sunday) (during light rain) 10:00-16:00 Number of people recruited: 15 people (first-come, first-served, advance application)
Participation fee: 2,500 yen *Please bring your own lunch.
