抱返り渓谷紅葉祭 2018

The "Dakigaeri Valley" that follows the middle reaches of Tamagawa is called Yabakei in the Tohoku region.

It is a famous spot for autumn leaves with a beautiful contrast with the blue mountain stream.

Event schedule

① Safety prayer festival (shinji)
Date and time: Wednesday, October 10, 11:00
Location: In front of Dakigaeri Shrine (rainy weather: shrine)

② Show off entertainment (may be canceled in case of rain)
Dates: October 14th (Sat), 20th (Sat), 21st (Sun), 27th (Sat), 28th (Sun), November 3rd (Sat / holiday) 12: 00 ~

③ Canyon walk (recruitment of participants)
Enjoy a walk to Mikaeri Falls with the guide of a canyon guide. After that, we will appreciate the musical sponsored by Akita Art Village.
Date: October 21st (Sun) 10: 00-16: 00 [Meeting at 10:00 in front of Dakigaeri Shrine]
Recruitment: 30 people (first-come-first-served basis)
Participation fee: 1,500 yen (advance application)

④ Open to the public at Kamidai Power Station
Date and time: Saturday, October 27 ① 11: 00 ~ ② 14: 00 ~
Meeting place: In front of Kamidai power plant (guided by staff)
Recruitment capacity: 20 people each time (first-come-first-served basis, some people can be accepted on the day)
Participation fee: Free

There is a charge for parking during the autumn leaves festival.
Ordinary car: 300 yen
Large car: 1,000 yen

Free shuttle bus service between Kakunodate Station and Dakigaeri Valley!

◆ Reservations are not possible ・ Please board on a first-come, first-served basis.

* If you come to Warabi-za, please use the shuttle bus dedicated to Warabi-za.
* Operating hours may change depending on road conditions.
* This bus is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Since it is illegal to operate beyond the passenger capacity, we will depart when the passenger capacity is reached. We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that we can operate safely.
