The season for the autumn flavor “chestnut” has arrived!
The Saimyoji Kuriichi Store Specialty Fair is currently being held, offering menus of food and sweets using Saimyoji Chestnuts from Nishiki-cho, Semboku Semboku City!
Saimyoji chestnuts are unique in that they are the largest in Japan, about the same size as a baby's fist, and processed products such as simmered in astringent skin and kanroni are exquisite.
