Hinata Extract

This is a take-out shop that offers smoothies and potages that "deliver" the rich flavors of Akita's fruits and vegetables. They use seasonal ingredients that change with the seasons and Akita's traditional sweetener, barley candy.

Hinata Extract's Three Specialties

1. Locally produced ingredients

We use fruits and vegetables from Akita Prefecture as our main ingredients. By using ingredients harvested nearby, we are able to cook fresh ingredients and deliver products that make the most of the natural flavors of the ingredients.

2. Extract of ingredients

We value the flavor of the ingredients we purchase, and create jams and pastes with low sweetness and salt. We deliver rich flavors that are packed with the essence (umami) of the ingredients.

3. Connect with nature

We pursue the natural flavor of our ingredients and use only natural seasonings. We use sugar beet sugar and Akita's traditional sweetener "mugiame" (barley candy) as sweeteners.
