Kansagu, also known as Ukijinja, is a modern white-wood shrine that stands in Katajiri on the shores of Lake Tazawa. It is said to be a celebration of driftwood (a large tree that appears about 2 meters from the surface of the lake and disappears deeply into the water at an angle).
