Kyu Ishiguro(Kei)ke

旧 石黒(恵)家

The former Ishiguro (Megumi) family was designed and built in 1933, and is a branch of the Buke Yashiki Ishiguroke.
The interior is characterized by a modern Japanese-Western fusion of traditional Japanese-style housing and a Western-style room.
It is a valuable cultural heritage site where you can see how the form of housing changed over time, from the Edo period to the Showa period.

It is closed every Monday and during the year-end and New Year holidays, but it is open to the public all year round and can be visited for free.
