Mysterious Lake, Japan's Deepest Lake

Tazawako, with its deep blue surface and the legend of Princess Tatsuko, is an almost circular lake with a circumference of about 20 kilometers.
At 423.4 meters deep, it is the deepest lake in Japan. The lake, with its mystical atmosphere, changes its appearance with the seasons and delights visitors.
In addition to historical sites and attractions, the lakeside is also home to a variety of leisure spots, including driving, cycling, and sightseeing boats.
From JR Tazawako station, take the Ugo Kotsu bus "Tazawako Loop Line" or "Nyuto Line" and get off at Tazawako(approximately 15 minutes)
Take the Akita Airport Liner from Akita Airport and get off near Tazawako(approximately 100 minutes)
