
Kakunodate's local sake is recommended for tasting at Junmai Daiginjo (Sakura no Mai Dry), Daiginjo (Kura no Mai Dry), Koto Kakunodate (Junmai Ginjo Dry), etc. The pickles are Akita's representative Iburi radish, Iburi carrots and Sakura Inaniwa udon, special kiritanpo, and sweets are the famous confectionery Sanazura and Sakura Moroko.
