TAZAWAKO BLUE WEEK '24 is being held!

Make Tazawako a mecca for outdoor activities.
A week of play while protecting the environment and connecting it to the future.

It boasts the deepest water in Japan (423.4m),
Tazawako in Akita Prefecture has been selected as one of the 100 most scenic spots in Japan.
In recent years, the number of outdoor activities that can be experienced around Tazawako has increased dramatically.
Outdoor enthusiasts from within and outside the prefecture,
It is getting increasing attention from media across the country.

In order to enliven Tazawako, which attracts a lot of attention,
The Akita Outdoor Base was formed, consisting of 12 outdoor activity businesses in Tazawako and the local government.
In order to promote Tazawako as an "outdoor mecca,"
The whole community is working hard together.

The natural beauty of Semboku City, and the mysterious beauty of Tazawako.
Outdoor activities that will revitalize the local area
I want more people to know about this.

"TAZAWAKO BLUE WEEK"
(abbreviated as "Blue Week").

The mysterious color of the lake water is called "Lake Tazawako Blue"
The event name comes from the fact that it is called "the best event in Japan."

To let people know about outdoor activities at Tazawako,
The purpose and aim of this project is to allow children to play in nature, but at the same time,
Protecting the "Tazawako Blue" scenery = Creating the future of Tazawako,
I would like you to think about this and work on it together with me for a little while.

Therefore, cleanup activities will be carried out throughout the event.
Garbage bags will be distributed by each operator to participants of outdoor activity experiences from July 1st to July 7th.

While playing in nature and enjoying the rich scenery,
I would like people to pay a little more attention to environmental issues.
This week has been filled with such thoughts.

During this period, each outdoor activity business,
It will be a normal business day.

There are no food stalls,
You won't be able to have any special outdoor experiences.

However, during normal business hours we will distribute garbage bags to customers and encourage them to participate in the cleanup.
